I'll be running/"tabbing" the 2014 VLM. The aim is to run/jog/march/crawl the 26.2 miles with 20-25kgs on my back in under 6 hours. As always the more the merrier, I've already got one budding young officer signed up to it, so please get in touch if you're interested. We'll be raising awareness for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research (as always), Macmillan Cancer Support and supporting some military charities as well - The Army Benevolent Fund and potentially BLESMA. Not forgetting our friends at Action on Addiction.

The Virgin London Marathon 2014

The main charity that is working on the condition my Dad suffers from. Please look at their site for more info on what they do.

Macmillan help thousands of cancer sufferers every year - they have a great network, offer excellent advice and are my second cancer organisation. they are very good at what they do.

Action on Addiction works on everything from drugs & drink to self harm and the rest. Close friends have benefitted from their work and I think they deserve greater recognition for the job they do.

Many of you will be aware that I am presently in training to become an Officer in the British Army. The ABF and BLESMA both do incredibly important work that helps thousands around the country who have been injured, or otherwise affected in the line of duty.
